Michael Labutin is the Head of Delivery Office at Innowise. With an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics and Computer Science and a strong background in Java, ERP, and enterprise software, he brings both technical depth and operational experience to delivery leadership. Over the years, Michael has built large engineering departments, launched new business lines, and coordinated cross-functional teams of more than 200 specialists.

Today, his focus is on improving how complex projects are planned, staffed, governed, and delivered across the company. He works with delivery leaders and technical teams to strengthen execution, resolve operational bottlenecks, and maintain consistent standards across different technologies, domains, and engagement models.

Experience overview

Michael has extensive experience in engineering leadership, enterprise software delivery, and operational management. Before becoming Head of Delivery Office, he served as Director of Java & ERP Solutions and later as Deputy Global Delivery Director.

Throughout his career, Michael has built and led multidisciplinary teams of more than 200 specialists, established new technology departments, and supported large-scale transformation programs for international companies. His technical background includes Java, backend architecture, custom software, ERP, CRM, and enterprise platform integration.

As Director of Java & ERP Solutions, Michael was responsible for developing technical capabilities, expanding service lines, and overseeing complex enterprise implementations. His work covered SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and custom-built systems.

After moving into global delivery leadership, his scope expanded beyond individual technologies and practices. He became responsible for delivery quality, coordination between business units, operational consistency, and the resolution of project-level risks and escalations.

As Head of Delivery Office, Michael works across departments to improve delivery processes and ensure that teams have the structure, resources, and support required to meet project commitments. His role combines delivery governance, resource planning, risk management, and collaboration with technical and business leaders.

Hobbies and interests

When he steps away from Java roadmaps and ERP roll-outs, Michael dives into a good book or grabs his camera to frame striking scenes. Weekends often find him clocking kilometers on a forest trail or casting a line by a quiet lake. A lifelong arachnology buff, Michael’s always on the lookout for rare spiders.
