Experience overview

Dmitry has spent the last 16 years creating simple, intuitive experiences that feel natural to users, and he’s gotten pretty good at it. He’s designed internal tools for security teams at a global cybersecurity company and created better workflows for staff at Dublin Airport. Along the way, he’s worked across industries that couldn’t be more different: fintech, aviation, crypto, and everything in between.

As a designer, he helped a Finnish startup replace clunky IT processes with frictionless design that made everyday tasks easier to navigate, built a flexible design system for Wanna, and led the UX for a tracking platform that improved team reporting in an Australian enterprise.

Dmitry’s learned that great products come from great collaboration, so he’s become just as passionate about growing designers and aligning teams as he is about perfecting pixels. He can zoom out to think strategically about design direction, then dive straight into the details when needed.

Hobbies and interests

Outside of work, Dmitry keeps himself creatively engaged: he’s played linebacker for the StormRiders American football team, exhibited his photography, and produced short films. He also runs DesignSaturday, an offline community event for designers to connect, share, and get inspired.
