The Innowise team has delivered an adaptive web solution that allows heavy-duty machinery dealerships to order spare parts and technical documentation.
The client is a prominent manufacturer specializing in heavy-duty equipment, including forklift trucks, container handling trucks, and reach stackers. They operate an extensive network of owned and third-party dealerships that sell trucks and spare parts.
Detailed information about the client cannot be disclosed under the provisions of the NDA.
Struggling to manage a vast inventory and volume of orders, the client sought a digital solution to streamline their operational capabilities. The client required a web application to serve as a centralized platform for dealership managers. The dealership managers could access inventory, place orders for spare parts, and view technical documentation through the app. Key requirements included ease of content management on the web platform and its responsiveness across various devices to accommodate the diverse needs of the dealers.
In response to the client’s needs, Innowise delivered an adaptive web application that facilitated the sales and order processing workflows. The solution comprised three main components:
We developed a user-friendly interface to offer dealers a comprehensive view of the available stock. They can use the web portal to order spare parts, download technical documentation, view part drawings, and manage warranty claims efficiently.
We also designed the application to facilitate accessibility. It conveniently adapts to screen resolutions and aspect ratios so dealership managers can use the app on various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones. The engineers used the latest tech tools to make the web app as responsive as possible, setting it on par with native mobile software.
Innowise developers based the web platform on a headless CMS, which makes updating and managing content entries much easier. The administrator can update stock and upload documentation without affecting the front-end user experience. In addition, a headless CMS development services offer software that keeps content management easy should the solution be scaled over more databases or have additional apps added to the architecture.

The team started the project with a discovery phase, where our professionals gathered the requirements and estimated the scope of work and the delivery timeline. Having adopted the Scrum methodology, the team divided the tasks into two-week sprints, at the end of which the developers held demos. During the demos, the client tested the prototypes and offered feedback. Constant communication allowed the team to swiftly correct the course of the project and tweak the features.
