Innowise took part in creation and implementation of a data center for a range of financial applications and services.
Our customer is a European governmental financial institution.

Our client was launching a new financial project that would serve residents of a European country. To make it work, the project required a data center showing high reliability, swift response, impeccable security, and the ability to handle a large number of users simultaneously.
To create such infrastructure, our client invited Innowise to participate in the joint project.
Innowise participated in planning and implementation of a data center to prepare the infrastructure for the deployment and operation of a range of financial applications and services.
Our team ensured the solution provides high reliability and fault tolerance, the ability to connect a large number of external clients, including outside the country.
In addition to that, we implemented the solution to secure both the data center services and the computing infrastructure itself, and provided the possibility of using cryptographic protection of some data.
Our team has designed an Active-Active multi site data center with a separate backup site for data replication and disaster recovery processes. We used multi-pod architecture with stretched layer-2 domains across all sites of the data center to achieve seamless application migration and fault tolerance.
We implemented full-mesh Clos topology to ensure link redundancy between switches and predictable traffic flow in the data center. Fabric devices are connected with 100 Gbps links with the 400 Gbps upgrade ability, to eliminate bottlenecks and provide guaranteed bandwidth and minimal latency in high load conditions on data center applications.
We also introduced a fault-tolerant network security solution using clusters of two firewalls at each site to ensure access policies and protect data center applications and services. Using micro-segmentation and interaction policies among application groups within the data center, our team isolated sensitive information and ensured a high level of data security.
As a part of the solution, Innowise used hardware devices for cryptographic protection of user data to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS security standards and local requirements of information security and personal data protection.
Our team has also designed a centralized management and configuration panel that simplifies network provisioning, troubleshooting, and monitoring. It offers a single dashboard for managing physical and virtual network resources, getting real-time insights about network traffic and application performance through its built-in analytics capabilities.
Our team has also left the possibility of easily upscaling the network when it is necessary to increase the computing resources of the data center. Our architecture stipulates easy and transparent adding of additional switches to the fabric without having to reconfigure existing infrastructure.
