has always been a challenge. People are used to common illnesses like cold or flu, but more complex pathologies like bone fracturing or heart diseases are incomprehensible. This brings two general troubles: patients either panic, which makes it hard to explain the treatment method to them, or they don\u2019t understand the seriousness of their pathology and don\u2019t follow the therapist\u2019s prescriptions.<\/p><p>However, if patients comply with the therapist\u2019s prescriptions and generally keep calm and try to cooperate with the medical staff, then the vital thing is that medical workers have access to the newest and most accurate information about pathologies, especially when those pathologies are rare. This allows doctors not only to provide patients with treatment but to tell the difference between similar diseases and adjust any prescription according to the particular pathology href=\"https:\/\/innowise.com\/services\/mobile-application-development\/\">mobile\u00a0application<\/a>\u00a0that would have that precise information in handy and vivid form.\n\nWe\u2019ve started the research. Our team has contacted many specialists from leading medical centres and conducted a big questionnaire on the most comfortable form of potential app (platform, design, etc.) and what it should contain. While we were doing this many specialists offered their help in providing our team with all the necessary information, for which we are very grateful.\n\nAfter we\u2019ve finished questioning specialists and analyzing the needs of our potential users we\u2019ve found that the app:\n<ul>\n \t<li aria-level=\"1\">Should contain visual materials as well as text ones. This would allow for a much more vivid demonstration of pathologies;<\/li>\n \t<li aria-level=\"1\">Will be most comfortable on the mobile platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThese points make the field of use much wider. For example:\n<ul>\n \t<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>A physician<\/strong>\u00a0can explain the pathology to the patient, showing how it looks right from his smartphone and explaining every spot.<\/li>\n \t<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Medical tutors<\/strong>\u00a0can use more vivid visualization during their classes, which should make students more involved in the learning process as well as more productive.<\/li>\n \t<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Medical students<\/strong>\u00a0can use the application as a pocket assistant while engaging in a study in their own time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nAfter a brainstorming session, we\u2019ve come up with the name for our application:\u00a0<strong>VOKA 3D Anatomy &#038; Pathology<\/strong>.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-440466f author-article-title elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"440466f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>The Development<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-94c50fe elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"94c50fe\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Subsequent to our initial research, we\u2019ve started developing the application. While our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/innowise.com\/services\/ui-ux-design\/\">UI\/UX designers<\/a>\u00a0and developers worked on the visuals and architecture of the app, and a team of<a href=\"https:\/\/innowise.com\/services\/3d-design\/\">\u00a03D designers\u00a0<\/a>has been in tight contact with medical specialists who offered us assistance. Working together, they\u2019ve started on the 3D models of each pathology we were planning to have in our catalogue.<\/p><p>Our 3D team looked through different visual tests like CTs, MRTs, etc, medical atlases, and asked specialists about how each pathology should look like in real life. After they got that information, they worked on the 3D models. Then the specialists reviewed the models and gave their feedback.<\/p><p>This process lasted right until we got the most precise high-quality 3D replica of each pathology, which we then used in our application.<\/p><p>After we finished with both parts of the project (the application itself and the 3D models of pathologies) we joined the elements together. After these two elements were merged, we also added articles about each pathology. Every user can see the subject of study in 3D and read about its etymology, typical course and potential treatment. Every article was also reviewed by leading specialists from different medical fields.<\/p><p>To make the application comfortable to use, we sorted the pathologies into categories.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4307c1c author-article-title elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4307c1c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>What now?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-114c3c54 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"114c3c54\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"post-content\" class=\"post-content\"><p>Our project\u00a0got reviewed by medical workers and students as soon as we finished developing it. We\u2019ve received a lot of positive feedback.<\/p><p>Nonetheless, that\u2019s not the end. Our dream is to create the most complete catalogue of pathologies, each of which will be visualized with 3D models and explained with both visuals and articles.<\/p><p>We\u2019re moving towards our dream at a really high pace. In September, we\u2019re releasing an update, which will contain a new section, Traumatology and Orthopedics, which provides models of the skeletal system, including the anatomical skeleton, skull, upper and lower limbs, and bone fractures.<\/p><p>We\u2019re constantly collaborating with the leading medical centres on data gathering, as well as reviewing our work with them to make the most precise models.<\/p><p>All of this has one objective in mind: to make the world a better place.<\/p><\/div><div
